Its peaceful location, in a suburban neighbourhood, just ten minutes’ drive from the coast offers an ideal location for a restful retirement. Just a fifteen-minute walk from Preston Park Station, Oaklands is easily accessible by public transport.

Oaklands Nursing Home is a lovely, modern and tastefully decorated two storey nursing home. It is registered with the Care Quality Commission to accommodate 20 residents. All bedrooms are ensuite, bright, spacious, single rooms and fully equipped with a high tech nurse call system. Assisted bathrooms and showers are available for those who need it.

I never thought my husband would settle into a nursing home and appreciate it as well. This is entirely due to the excellent care he receives along with the companionship and friendliness from staff and residents. His spacious room gives him dignity and the family and I are very appreciative of all Oaklands offers. The only criticism is the state of the wheelchair access which makes it impossible for me to move my husband unaided. I would recommend Oaklands to everyone.
